Come and Try Indoor Hockey

Indoor Hockey – Starts this Monday!

What

Indoor Hockey is an indoor variant of “traditional” outdoor field hockey with several differences. There are fewer players in an indoor hockey team with teams comprising a maximum five, including the goalkeeper and up to seven substitutes. The field of play is smaller, a hard surface with boards along the sidelines that prevent the ball from going out of play at the side. It will be an excellent way to improve fitness and stick skills because of its intensity and the smaller space it is played in.

The intention is to just run 4-5 weeks of “turn up and play” type games after some warm up and drills.
