Format
Six rounds on Monday evenings: Oct 21, 28; Nov 11, 18, 25; Dec 2 (NOTE: Bye Nov 4 due to Melbourne Cup Day public holiday)
- Team uniform is optional; bibs can be provided
- 4 x 8-minute quarters
- 2 mins at ¼ and ¾ time; 4 mins at ½ time
- No warm-ups on the pitches
- Goalkeeper is optional
Teams have been identified by colours where no name was given or a team was formed by GVHA. These teams can provide an alternative name if they want to.
There will be six separate competitions:
- Under 8
- Juniors (Under 10)
- Youth (Under 12-14)
- Open A (Hits & Giggles)
- Open B (Hits & Giggles)
- Open (Sheep Stations)
1. UNDER 8 (Hits & Giggles)
FORMAT: Players will be allocated to teams each night for 4v4; each team shooting at two goals.
LOCATION: Warm-up area behind Pitch 1
TIME: 5.30pm to 6.15pm each week.

FORMAT: The two teams will be mixed from Round 3 onwards (each round will be a different combination of players).
Hockey 5s rules; pushing and slap shots only. NO HITTING, NO RAISED BALLS ABOVE KNEE HEIGHT
LOCATION: Pitch 1 only – Hockey 5s West Pitch (nearest clubhouse) or Hockey 5s East (nearest dugouts)

5. OPEN B (Hits & Giggles)

NO RAISED BALLS unless a shot on goal in attacking quarter, danger rule applies.
